Starting pitcher Gabriel Martínez gave the Quebec City Dons a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Levis Fourches, 3-2, at Dons Field. At 15-12, the Dons find themselves in second place in the Ligue du Baseball du Quebec Division Maritime.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Dons had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when left fielder Huáscar Hernández hit a 2-run single. The single came off Enrique Hernández and made the score 3-1, Dons. Hernández went 1-3, while adding 2 RBI.

"Gabriel gave us everything he had," said Quebec City manager Carmelo Nava.
