The Nipissing Air Marshals took on the Pickering Bonebreakers at Bonebreakers Park.

The Nipissing Air Marshals knocked off the Pickering Bonebreakers, 8-4, in Ontario Baseball Association action at Bonebreakers Park. Nipissing pitcher and Thunder Bay, Canada, native Matt Kirby had an outstanding performance. Kirby got the win, improving to 4-3. He gave up 10 hits and walked 1 over 9 innings. He allowed 4 runs.

Early in the game, designated hitter Dale McGregor had a 2-run home run for Nipissing. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Air Marshals on top, 5-3.

Said Air Marshals manager Fulgencio Aguilar: "We're playing a good brand of baseball."

The first-place Air Marshals improved to 21-8.
