The Moncton Magnets picked up a win at Magnets Stadium, courtesy of Salvador Ramos. The right-hander helped his team stop the Laval Insulaires, 3-1. The win gives the Magnets a record of 6-23.

Ramos, who dominated for Moncton, earned the victory to move to 4-6. He was in control the whole game, scattering 5 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 8. Laval batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Salvador commanded the zone from bottom to top," said Moncton manager Luis Piñeda.
