Wet weather did not postpone the Gatineau-Laval ballgame.

The Gatineau Draveurs picked up a win at Insulaires Field, knocking off the Laval Insulaires, 4-1. Starting pitcher Francisco García played a key role in the triumph. The win puts Gatineau at 22-20 this season.

Gatineau used the hitting of Wenceslao Milián to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put the Draveurs on top, 1-0. For the game, Milián had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Francisco kept his poise and got the job done," said Gatineau manager Keith Reed. "He was outstanding."
