The Quebec City Dons stopped the Thurso Bucherons, 13-2, at Dons Field. The Dons got a big game from Huáscar Hernández, who went 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. The Dons now own a record of 27-17.

With Quebec City leading 10-2 in the bottom of the eighth, Hernández came up to bat against Thurso pitcher Corey Lang. Hernández hit a changeup to right for a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Dons on top, 13-2.

Thurso manager Veloso Haldane called the blowout loss "a real stinker."
