Wild Pigeons Stadium was the site for Ontario Baseball Association action featuring the Kitchener Wild Pigeons and Pickering Bonebreakers.

The Pickering Bonebreakers locked up a win at Wild Pigeons Stadium, knocking off the Kitchener Wild Pigeons, 11-4. On the mound for Pickering was left-hander Alrigo Leitez. He played a major role in the triumph. Leitez, who is tied for 6th in the OBA in innings pitched with 105.1, went the distance for Pickering. He gave up 4 runs on 7 hits.

Pickering took advantage of an error in the top of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 4-4, when Penn Longley hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Bonebreakers in front, 5-4.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Longley.

The Bonebreakers raised their record to 25-22.
