The game between Lachute and Sherbrooke is in the books, despite a little rain.

Lachute Supercalandres starter Efraín Jurado pitched well against the Sherbrooke Privateers at Privateers Grounds, leading his team to a win, 3-1. Lachute now owns a record of 29-16.

Jurado, who has sometimes raised the ire of coaches and teammates with his famously lackadaisical work ethic, turned in a spirited effort. The hurler struck out 6 in 9 innings and gave up 1 run.

Jurado, who is tied for 2nd in the LBQ in quality starts with 10, moves to 7-4 on the year with 80 strikeouts.

"Efraín looked like he had more finish on his ball," said Lachute manager Josh Pruitt.
