Extra frames were needed to settle this game between the Halifax Batteries and Quebec City Dons.

The Halifax Batteries scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Quebec City Dons at Batteries Field. Halifax pitcher Jaime Bautista held his own in the contest. Diomedes Sacramento, now 1-2, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 3 and walking 0.

The decisive blow was delivered by Timoteo García in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a run-scoring double off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Rory Wheeler to win the game for Halifax. The home crowd went nuts.

"This game showed the grit and grind of our guys," said García.

The Batteries improved to 33-22.
