Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Teitoku
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Kagoshima Teitoku and Iga Shinobi.

The Kagoshima Teitoku converted a terrific effort from starter Yugo Toguchi into a win over the Iga Shinobi at Teitoku Park. The Teitoku won the game by a final score of 2-1. Toguchi, who is tied for 8th in the SL with a 1.34 WHIP, went the distance for Kagoshima. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits.

Kagoshima got a knockout punch from Emilio Barragán. The shortstop hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Barragán told a Kagoshima Daily News reporter that he was "very happy" with the win.

Kagoshima is third in the Southern League with a record of 42-36.
