Sherbrooke No Match for Zambrano
|
Celino Zambrano handcuffed the Sherbrooke Privateers at Ballpark of Gatineau, coming away with a 1-hit, complete game shutout.
"I had everything working for me out there," the Gatineau Draveurs right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."
With his stuff working, Zambrano had little trouble with the Privateers and led the Draveurs to victory, 1-0. He recorded 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in an impressive performance.
Checking out his stats for the season, Zambrano has registered 6 wins and 11 losses in 20 starts, posted a 3.46 ERA, and struck out 152 batters in 176.2 innings.
