The Thurso Bucherons defeated the Sherbrooke Privateers, 9-5. Doing his part was center fielder Claudio Díaz, who was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Thurso pitcher Corey Lang got the win. He's now 14-7. Tony Renny was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Bucherons improved to 45-37.

Gabino Beltrán helped the cause in the top of the seventh. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring double. His at-bat contributed to the Thurso win.

"Guys seem to be putting together some really nice at-bats right now," said Bucherons manager Veloso Haldane.
