Supercalandres Keep Streak Alive With 7-3 Win
Lachute starter Eduardo Ayala pitched well against the Sherbrooke Privateers at Privateers Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-3. Ayala, now 9-11, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 4, walking 4, and allowing 3 runs. The Supercalandres, now 52-32, have won 10 in a row.

Samuel Barbosa produced at a critical juncture for Lachute. It happened in the top of the ninth with Luis Fernández on the mound and Lachute leading 4-3. That's when the 27-year old second baseman Barbosa got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run.

"We're playing like a well-oiled machine right now," said Supercalandres manager Josh Pruitt.
