|
Sabae first baseman Perseo Reyna had a big day at Kamome Ballpark against the Fukushima Kamome. The 23-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 7-2 Megane-ten triumph over Fukushima.
"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Reyna said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."
