Ernesto Lemus put a hex on the Thurso Bucherons in a sparkling 6-0 shutout performance, mesmerizing them on a 6-hit gem.

"I felt good physically," he said after the game. "Everything's comfortable. You should pitch well when that's the case."

The Bucherons were anything but comfortable against the 25-year-old Gatineau Draveurs hurler, who fanned 5 and gave up 3 walks.

"Lemus used his changeup very well, very effectively," said opposing manager Veloso Haldane. "He threw it in hitter's counts."

In 21 starts this season, Lemus has notched a 12-9 record and a 3.20 ERA.
