Roger Woodford, who is tied for 6th in the LBQ with a 2.64 ERA, had a strong outing for the Gatineau Draveurs against the Thurso Bucherons at Bucherons Grounds. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Woodford, who is tied for 5th in the LBQ in saves with 2, went the distance for Gatineau. He gave up 2 runs on 9 hits. At 38-47, the Draveurs claim 4th place in the Ligue du Baseball du Quebec Division Ouest.

Mario Quiñones took Thurso hurler Jeremy Zinck deep in the top of the fifth. His solo home run put the Draveurs on top, 3-2. In all, Quiñones had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"That was a really good outing by Roger," said Gatineau manager Keith Reed.
