The Fukuyama Komori topped the Seki Katanakaji, 11-10, at Fukuyama Grounds. Fukuyama right fielder Oliver Burns was a spark plug for the offense. He was 3-5 with a triple and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The last-place Katanakaji have lost 4 straight games.

The Katanakaji had been locked in a 9-9 tie with the Komori going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old right fielder Ryo Honda came to the plate. Honda hit a run-scoring double on a 0-2 sinker from Seki hurler Raúl Casas. It was Honda's 4th double of the year.
