Halifax turned a good effort from starting pitcher Jaime Bautista into a win over the Quebec City Dons at Batteries Field. The final score was 3-2 in 11 innings. In 11 innings, Bautista surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs. The Batteries win now puts them at 53-38.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jairo Costa in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Gabriel Martínez to win the game for Halifax. The home crowd went nuts.
