The Brampton Florists trumped the Hamilton Hammers, 7-6, in 10 innings. Brampton center fielder Vicente Marín was impactful. He went 4-4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 2. The loss makes Hamilton 37-55.

The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the tenth when Bill Ferguson hit a solo home run off 33-year old right-handed pitcher Telémaco García to win the game for Brampton. The home crowd went wild.
