Sherbrooke got a decent performance from pitcher Julián Loya, but it wasn't enough to beat the Levis Fourches. Levis won the Privateers Grounds contest, 6-5. Loya threw 9.0 innings of 8-hit ball for the losing team. The win was credited to Rodrigo Fernández in relief. His record improves to 7-2. Julián Loya took the loss. Levis is now 53-42. Sherbrooke is 55-40.

The most important at-bat for Levis came in the top of the ninth inning, when third baseman Rafael Martínez stroked a 1-1 fastball to center for a run-scoring single, putting Levis up, 6-5.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Martínez told the Levis Bulletin.
