Streaking Kawauso Win Another One, 5-3
The Matsuyama Kawauso and Yamatokoriyama Kingyo completed their game despite the rain.

The Matsuyama Kawauso picked up a win at Yamatokoriyama Fields, downing the Yamatokoriyama Kingyo, 5-3. On the mound for Matsuyama was right-hander Yuki Matsumoto, who played a pivotal role in the win. Win Mercer notched his 4th save in 4 chances.

Matsuyama used the hitting of Shugo Komiyama to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Kawauso on top, 4-0. For the game, Komiyama had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
