Narrow Win Takes Brampton Streak to 7
At Wild Pigeons Stadium, the Brampton Florists edged the Kitchener Wild Pigeons, 5-4, in 11 innings. Brampton third baseman Adrián Razo, who jolted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Brent Matchim got the win, improving to 11-13. He pitched 10 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 4. Brampton is now 55-43.

Brampton used the timely hitting of Freddie Moraine to capture the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Florists on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but he made it count.

"We've been playing some good baseball," Moraine told the Brampton Observer. "We're aggressive and focused on what we're going to do on the field and getting it done."
