Natán Concepción had an impact in the 8-3 Sudbury win over Thunder Bay. The 26-year old shortstop went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The Meteors improved to 43-56.

Teucro Donayre went 1-5. He drove in 2 runs for Sudbury. The 19-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Nicolás Lerma. It was his 35th RBI of the season.

"The team always comes first," Donayre told a reporter while responding to autograph requests. "Our fans like to come out to see a win, so I'm happy to do what I can to give them that."
