Sherbrooke got a strong outing from Hernán Gutiérrez as the Privateers defeated the Gatineau Draveurs, 4-2, at Privateers Grounds. Gutiérrez yielded 2 runs over 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 4, and struck out 3. His record improves to 11-4. Sherbrooke now sports a record of 58-42.

Sherbrooke went up, 4-2, on Carlos Carranza's 9th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Carranza hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Gatineau pitcher Roger Woodford shaking his head.

"Hernán kind of went out and dug down and got some outs when he needed to," said Sherbrooke manager Humberto Reyes.
