Bucherons Collect 2-1 Win Over Privateers
In a tight tilt between the Thurso Bucherons and the Sherbrooke Privateers, Corey Lang was the difference-maker. The Thurso right-hander excelled in his team's 2-1 win in 10 innings. The win belonged to Bill Brenton in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Tony Renny took the loss for Sherbrooke. The third-place Bucherons improved to 58-44.

The Bucherons got a clutch hit from second baseman Rufino Corona. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bucherons.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Veloso Haldane, the Thurso skipper.
