Wild Pigeons Claim 5-2 Triumph
The Kitchener Wild Pigeons and Pickering Bonebreakers completed their game despite the inclement weather.

Kitchener picked up a win at Bonebreakers Park, bumping off the Pickering Bonebreakers, 5-2. Pitcher Marcos González was a major reason the Wild Pigeons emerged victorious. González went the distance for Kitchener. He gave up 2 runs on 11 hits.

Kitchener took the lead in the top of the sixth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Juan Ocampo stroked a 2-run single to make it 4-2, Wild Pigeons.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Kitchener manager Ralph Ham.

The Wild Pigeons sit in second place in the Ontario Baseball Association Ontario South with a record of 56-47.
