Big Day for Portillo: Swats 5 Hits
There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.

Radamés Portillo is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Kitchener Wild Pigeons at Bonebreakers Park. The monster effort from the 24-year-old third baseman helped the Pickering Bonebreakers get the win, 9-2.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Wild Pigeons manager Ralph Ham. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."

Radamés Portillo hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Hortensio Garza in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

So far this year in 95 games, Portillo is hitting .308 with 18 home runs, 62 RBIs and 48 runs scored.
