Gatineau turned a good effort from starter Ed Townsend into a win over the Thurso Bucherons at Ballpark of Gatineau. The final score was 8-2. Townsend, now 10-15, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. The Draveurs now have a record of 47-55 with the win over Thurso.

The Draveurs got an important contribution from right fielder Víctor Aguilar, who in the bottom of the third knocked a 1-1 fastball to right for a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Draveurs ahead, 4-0.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Aguilar told the Gatineau News.
