Road Win Lifts Nacogdoches to 2-1 Lead in IDS
When the games really matter, the Nacogdoches Roaches put on their best show, beating the Tyler Pecan Kings by a final score of 7-5. Ignacio Rosales went 5 for 6 with 2 doubles, 3 singles, and a walk. Nacogdoches now leads Tyler 2-1 in the best-of-5 affair.

Nacogdoches used the clutch hitting of Mathis Picot to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run double in the top of the 12th inning to give the Roaches the lead, 7-5. For the game, Picot had 2 singles and 2 doubles in 7 at-bats.

"It's hard to overstate how much this mattered to us, especially in a short series," Nacogdoches manager Miguel Espinosa said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Pecan Kings Stadium in Tyler.
