Draveurs Lose to Thurso, 2-1
|
Thurso starter Corey Lang pitched well against the Gatineau Draveurs at Ballpark of Gatineau. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-1. The victory gives Thurso a record of 60-46.
Rufino Corona dealt the Draveurs a blow in the top of the third. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Thurso leading 1-0, Corona, who is tied for 7th in the LBQ in hits with 102, hit a 0-1 sinker for a run-scoring single.
"Put this one in the bank," said Corona afterward.
