The Quebec City Dons knocked off the Moncton Magnets, 4-1, in Ligue du Baseball du Quebec action at Magnets Stadium. Quebec City pitcher and Arecibo, Puerto Rico, native Gabriel Martínez had an outstanding performance. The last-place Magnets have lost 7 straight games.
In his 118-pitch effort, Martínez allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 9 innings. He walked 3 and struck out 8.
