The Markham Wheelwrights easily defeated the Brampton Florists, 16-4, at Markham Stadium, with second baseman Pablo González a main contributor to the win. He was 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for Markham. The winner was Javier Díaz, who threw 121 pitches over 9 innings.
