Wild Pigeons Handle Hammers, Grab 8-6 Win
The Kitchener Wild Pigeons defeated the Hamilton Hammers, 8-6, at Wild Pigeons Stadium. Kitchener designated hitter Tom Dalton had a superb performance. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The win was credited to Daniel Florentino in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Arquímedes Magaña took the loss. Kitchener now owns a record of 62-50.

In the bottom of the third inning, Kitchener got a key at-bat from Dalton. With two outs, a runner on 3rd and the Wild Pigeons trailing 5-3, Dalton hit a 2-run home run.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Kitchener skipper Ralph Ham.
