The Halifax Batteries racked up a win at Batteries Field, bumping off the Moncton Magnets, 8-1. Gabriel Gutiérrez, who started for Halifax, pitched effectively for his team. Halifax, at 61-47, occupies third place in the Ligue du Baseball du Quebec Division Maritime.
