Longley Goes Deep Twice in 8-4 Bonebreakers Win
The Pickering Bonebreakers cut down the Markham Wheelwrights by the score of 8-4, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Penn Longley. Longley was 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Bonebreakers. With the win, Pickering raised its record to 58-53.

With Pickering leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Longley came up to bat against Markham pitcher Finney Kelly. Longley hit a slider to left-center for a 2-run home run. His 24th home run of the season put the Bonebreakers on top, 4-0.

"If I eat my fiber, they say they'll still let me swing the bat," joked Longley.
