With 5-3 Win, Rocking Horses Draw Even With Madonnas
The Winchendon Rocking Horses took down the Cranston Madonnas by the score of 5-3 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Pennant Championship Series. The largest share of the credit belongs to Winchendon starter Calvino Mejía, who threw 9.0 innings of 8-hit ball.

With Winchendon leading 2-1 in the top of the sixth, Avelino Pérez hit a run-scoring single off Cranston pitcher Albán Yáñez. It put the Rocking Horses ahead 3-1.

"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Winchendon manager Roberto Ortiz.

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, September 2nd , 1915 at The Toy Store in Winchendon.
