Rocking Horses Win Again, Extend Series Lead to 3-1
Alfredo Guzmán pitched a gem to help the Winchendon Rocking Horses escape with a tight, 1-0 victory over the Cranston Madonnas in a low-scoring Pennant Championship Series contest. The left-handed Guzmán threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball in the win, just enough for the Rocking Horses on a day when their offense dried up. Winchendon now leads the best-of-7 series 3-1.

Guzmán excelled for Winchendon, as he kept the Cranston offense quiet. The left-hander went the distance, shutting out the Madonnas on 3 hits.

"If you can control the count and control the hitter, you're going to have the upper hand," said Guzmán.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Toy Store in Winchendon.
