The Quebec City Dons beat the Trois-Rivieres Trifluviens, 6-5. Quebec City pitcher and Arecibo, Puerto Rico, native Gabriel Martínez led the way. Martínez yielded 5 runs over 10 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 15-13. The Dons now have a record of 64-51.

Quebec City used the clutch hitting of Huáscar Hernández to snag the win. The left fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Dons ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Martínez.
