Nipissing third baseman Carl Legrow was sensational. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Sault Ste. Marie beat the Air Marshals, 5-4. The last-place Rapids now sit at 44-75.

Sault Ste. Marie used a big swing from Bradley Oliver to get the win. The second baseman walloped a grand slam home run in the top of the second inning to put the Rapids up, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.

"We were the better team," crowed Oliver.
