Air Marshals Win Nail-Biter in 10
Air Marshals Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Nipissing Air Marshals and Sault Ste. Marie Rapids.

Sault Ste. Marie got a terrific performance from pitcher Marius Capisizu, but it wasn't enough to beat the Nipissing Air Marshals. Nipissing won the Air Marshals Park contest, 3-2. Capisizu threw 8.1 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. The win belonged to Petro Bouland in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Abelardo Almaraz took the loss for Sault Ste. Marie.

The Air Marshals procured the win, in large part because of catcher Aaron Anderson. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"It was bedlam at the end," Anderson said.

Nipissing is now 51-69, Sault Ste. Marie 44-76.
