In an exciting Serie Eliminatoria that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is Liga Profesional de Beisbol de Venezuela fans who have come out the winner.

But on the field, the winners were the Maracaibo Independientes, who edged the Barquisimeto Crepusculares 3-2 to advance to the Campeonato de las Ligas.
