Batteries Saddle Fourches with 4-0 Loss
|
Halifax pitcher Noé Martínez had a large part in his team subduing the Levis Fourches, 4-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. The win puts the Batteries at 54-66, while the Fourches drop to 63-57.
Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Batteries Field seemed to enjoy watching the Ligue du Baseball du Quebec action.
"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Martínez. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
