Halifax and Levis got after it at Batteries Field.

The Halifax Batteries beat the Levis Fourches, 6-4. Halifax pitcher and Río Grande, Puerto Rico, native Casiodoro Torres led the way. The Batteries are now 55-66, while the Fourches fall to 63-58.

Halifax took the lead, 6-4, on Ludovico García's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Levis pitcher Catón Gil in the bottom of the eighth.

Torres told a Halifax Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
