Sudbury Meteors starter Luis Aguilar turned in a top-notch performance against the Thessalon North Stars at North Stars Stadium. The result was a win for the Meteors, 6-1. After today's action, Sudbury sits at 51-71; Thessalon slips to 47-75.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Teucro Donayre? The Sudbury catcher had a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Meteors on top, 2-1. For the game, Donayre had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Donayre. "And not try to do too much."
