Thurso Bucherons starter Corey Lang found his groove in his team's 8-3 win over the Sherbrooke Privateers. The win for the Bucherons raised their record to 69-53.

In the top of the fourth, Thurso catcher David Randall had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Randall stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 3-0, Thurso. For the game, he was 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Lang after the game.
