The Brampton Florists, behind a great outing from Zósimo Santiago, who is tied for 10th in the OBA in wins with 17, defeated the Sudbury Meteors, 3-1, at Florists Grounds. Brampton is 66-54 and Sudbury, with the loss, 51-73.

Santiago, who is tied for 10th in the OBA in wins with 17, pitched a complete game for Brampton. Santiago surrendered 3 hits over 9 innings and struck out 6. With the win, he moves to 17-13 on the season.

"Zósimo gave us a huge shot in the arm," said Brampton manager Tomás Valle.
