Bonebreakers Use Late Score to Top Sleeping Giants, 2-1
The Pickering Bonebreakers claimed a close win over the Thunder Bay Sleeping Giants, due in large part to Felipe González. The Pickering right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-1 win. The third-place Bonebreakers now have a win-loss record of 58-66.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 1-1, 24-year old third baseman Frazer O'Keeffe won it for Pickering. With runners on 1st and 3rd, O'Keeffe hit a 0-2 curveball from Alfonso López for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 2-1 win.

Pickering manager Adelmo López praised his team's "businesslike approach."
