Guatire Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 3-1
The Guatire Heroes defeated the Puerto La Cruz Timoneles, 6-2, in Game 4 of the Campeonato de las Ligas. The key to the win was starter Gamaliel Pacheco, who threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball. The win narrows Guatire's deficit in the series to 3-1.

In the bottom of the fifth, with Guatire leading 4-2, Hiroshi Fuse hit a curveball from Florentino Cruz for a 2-run single, giving the Heroes the lead, 6-2.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Guatire manager Heliodoro Ortiz.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Estadio de Guatire in Guatire.
