Trujillo Alto Moves on to Campeonato de las Ligas
Members of the Trujillo Alto Arrecostaos couldn't hold back their emotions after beating the Cayey Brumosos in the final game of the Serie Interliga.

"It's just been such a roller coaster," said Arrecostaos starting pitcher Haley Johnson after the club's 4-2 win. "You play all season and then everything comes down to this one game. We know how easily we could have been on the other side of it."

The other side was a subdued Brumosos clubhouse, where players packed up their belongings and headed home for the year, with a somber mood in the air.

For the series, Johnson was named MVP, as he had a 1.00 ERA over 9 innings pitched. He added 8 strikeouts and picked up 1 win.

The Trujillo Alto Arrecostaos don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Ciales Guapetones - Salinas Olimpicos series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The Campeonato de las Ligas schedule will be announced after the Serie Interliga finishes.
