Riding the 3-hit performance of the 22-year old catcher Maternus Charles, the Tucson Highwaymen stopped the Prescott Lynx, 8-2. With the win, Tucson lifts its record to 1-3.

With Tucson leading 3-0 in the top of the second, Charles hit a fastball from Urbano Cabrera for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Highwaymen ahead, 6-0.

Charles attributed the win to his team's "collective resolve."
