Ruidosos Get Hard-Earned Win
The outcome was not decided until the very end at Parquecito de Caguas.

Caguas Ruidosos starter Troilo Gómez pitched a strong game against the Comerio Aranitos at Parquecito de Caguas, leading the Ruidosos to victory, 4-3. The win was credited to 22-year old left-handed pitcher Armando Cuara in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Felipe Hernández took the loss.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 14th, 22-year old third baseman Desiderio García had a chance to be the hero. Comerio pitcher Felipe Hernández wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, García hit a sacrifice fly. The Ruidosos had themselves a thrilling win.

"It was a test of wills," said Eliseo Apodaca, the Caguas skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."

Comerio falls to 1-3.
