The Waco Mammoths converted a terrific effort from starter Tito Rodríguez into a win over the San Marcos Cadavers at Mammoths Field. The Mammoths won the game by a final score of 4-2. Rodríguez, now 2-1, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 2, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. With the win, Waco is 2-9.

Left Fielder Gerardo Hernández made an impact for Waco, when he swatted a solo home run off Osvaldo Rosales in the bottom of the first. For the contest, Hernández went 1-2 with a home run and a walk.
